Three Ingredients. Infinite Possibilities

Leaf cluster with crystals

Truvia Natural Sweetener is made with simply three ingredients: stevia leaf extract (also called steviol glycosides), erythritol and natural flavours. To make Truvia Natural Sweetener, we first take the sweetest parts of the stevia leaf and extract its sweetness. But stevia leaf extract is 200 times sweeter than sugar, so to balance the sweetness we add a sugar alcohol called erythritol. Then we add a special recipe of natural flavours to create great-tasting, low-calorie sweetness.

Steviol Glycosides

(Stevia Leaf Extract)
Stevia is a plant that has been enjoyed for the delicate sweetness from its leaves for centuries. The stevia leaves are dried and steeped in water to unlock the best tasting part of the leaf which is then purified.

Erythritol

Erythritol is a sweetener, produced by a fermentation process like beer and cheese. Erythritol is also found in fruits like grapes and pears.

Natural Flavors

Natural flavours are used to bring out the best of Truvia Natural Sweetener, like pepper or salt or any other spice that would be used to enhance the taste of food.

From Stevia to Truvia Sweetener

In six stages, the sweetness of stevia makes the journey from harvest to your kitchen. By always following this series of steps, we ensure we obtain the best tasting parts of the stevia leaf to use in our sweeteners to add to your favourite dishes.
